The Big Pink

Yes, The Big Pink is a very fun band and you should go check them out! Dominoes and Crystal Visions are the two songs that I have on my iPod. But they are not why I am writing this blog post. (I'll have music posts soon, don't worry!) Today, I'm writing about a different topic...

One trend that I've seen lately through photos of celebrities, models, and fashionistas is the bright pink lip. Personally, I love this trend and think summertime is the perfect time to sport it. You can tone it down like Dakota Fanning did by applying a rosy pink color and gloss or pump it up like Emma Stone did with her 'stick.

It's the new red lip! Except the red lip never goes out of style. 

About a month ago, my friend and I went to Sephora and we both fell in love with Kat Von D's cosmetic collection... especially her pink lipstick *shocker*. We both got the bright pink lipstick called Backstage Bambi. I also bought this other Kat lipstick that's a pink nude, Lovecraft, because it's great for everyday and is a great combo of nudey and pinky.
